Dear Valued Customers,
In the past several months, we have seen an increase in pricing from our suppliers. We have waited as long as we can but this price increase is not going to change. Unfortunately, this means that we need to pass on this cost to our customers. By doing this, we are able to ensure that we have the best products available to you.
Thank you for your support in this trying time.
Queridos clientes valorados,
Calvin and Debbie Smith
store owners
Calvin and Debbie Smith have lived, worked and raised their family right here in the Hemet / San Jacinto Valley. Both were members of the San Jacinto High School FFA program, have strong agricultural ties to the valley and are active members of the community.
In 2000, after successfully operating the Wholesale Hay Co. for several years, they opened C. L. Smith Hay & Grain in San Jacinto on the corner of Ramona Expy and Lyon Ave. and have strived to provide the community quality feed and supplies with a friendly smile. After a devastating windstorm in the fall of 2007 damaged the landmark feed store beyond repair, the store was temporarily closed. In the summer of 2010, C. L. Smith Hay & Grain was reopened, in a smaller capacity, at the same location. The Smiths' have maintained a family friendly atmosphere in the store by hiring and training knowledgeable staff, promoting strong customer service skills and stocking quality products at reasonable prices.
